A lot of our customers are unfamiliar with how freight shipments work. Here’s exactly what to expect when you buy an item that ships via freight from J & J Auto Wrecking — a small family business with real people who care about getting it right.

We Are an Online-Only Parts Retailer

Despite the word “wrecking” in our name, J & J Auto Wrecking is not a walk-in salvage yard, junkyard, or pick-and-pull. Every part we sell is individually cataloged in our online store with detailed photos, measurements, and test videos. You browse and purchase online — we pull, inspect, package, and ship your part. We sell individual parts only, not bulk items like entire interiors, complete vehicles, or unlisted inventory. If it’s not listed in our catalog, it’s not available for sale.

The method depends on the size and weight of your part. Shipping cost is calculated at checkout based on your item and destination.

📦 Standard Parcel

UPS & USPS

Small to medium parts like trim pieces, sensors, electronics, gauges, wiring harnesses, mirrors, lights, and smaller interior components. Carefully wrapped and boxed with padding and protection. Ships within 2 business days of payment.

Large Items

🚛 Freight / LTL Shipping

Regional Freight Carriers

Heavy and oversized parts like engines, transmissions, differentials, axle assemblies, bumpers, hoods, doors, wheel sets, and roll bars. Each item is custom-crated by our team for safe transit. 1–3 business day handling time. Delivers coast to coast, Monday–Friday during business hours. Free liftgate available for residential deliveries.

eBay Global Shipping Program

For customers outside the United States, we ship exclusively through the eBay Global Shipping Program. Use the eBay international shipping calculator on any listing to get a delivered price to your country.

You Place Your Order

Purchase through our Shopify store or eBay. Orders placed on weekends or holidays are billed the next business day.

We Reach Out to You

After your order, we contact you via email or eBay message to collect: VIN, year/make/model, confirmed shipping address, and a phone number for delivery. We will not proceed without your response.

Custom Crating & Quality Check

Freight items have a 1–3 business day handling time. We custom-crate your item for safe transit. Engines are leak-down tested, dry stored, and quality checked twice before they leave our facility.

Dispatched + Tracking Sent

Once picked up, we send tracking details (carrier name + website) so you can follow updates throughout transit.

Terminal Arrival & Delivery Call

When the item reaches the terminal closest to you, you’ll get a call to schedule delivery. The number may be unfamiliar—please answer or call back quickly if they leave a voicemail.

Delivered to Your Door

Freight delivers coast to coast, Monday–Friday during business hours, to commercial and residential addresses. Free liftgate available if you don’t have a forklift/tow motor.

📞 Answer the Freight Company’s Call

When your item arrives near you, the freight company will call to schedule delivery. The call may come from a number you don’t recognize. Call back ASAP if you miss it.

Why do you need my VIN and vehicle info after I order?

We collect VIN, year/make/model, address, and phone number to double-check compatibility and ensure smooth delivery. We will not proceed until we hear back.

Can I visit your location and pick parts myself?

No. We are online-only. Local pickup is available for online orders by appointment, but there is no walk-in browsing or part pulling.

Can you sell me an entire interior / whole dashboard / complete cabin?

No. We sell individual cataloged parts only—each with its own listing, photos, and description. Unlisted bundles/assemblies are not available.

What if my part arrives damaged?

Contact us immediately. Our 60-day hassle-free return and exchange guarantee covers damage, defects, wrong parts, or items not as described.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes—only through the eBay Global Shipping Program. Purchase through our eBay store and use the international calculator on each listing.

Do you have parts that aren't listed online?
